Ken Fowler iHuman Dialogue Interview Questions
Q1: Do you have any other symptoms or concerns we should discuss?
A1: Apart from feeling tired, experiencing nausea, and vomiting, I also feel exhausted, likely due to the persistent vomiting and lack of food intake.
Q2: What does your vomit look like?
A2: My vomit appears clear or contains residual food particles, although I haven’t eaten for over 24 hours.
Q3: Have you been vomiting anything that looks like blood or coffee grounds?
A3: No, fortunately, there hasn’t been any occurrence of vomiting blood or coffee grounds.
Q4: Do you have any pain or other symptoms associated with your nausea and/or vomiting?
A4: While I had a back injury last week from lifting a box, the pain has improved. However, I have been experiencing lightheadedness upon standing up quickly.
Q5: Can you tell me about any current or past medical problems you have had?
A5: I have high blood pressure and have been taking medications for it. Last month, I was informed that high blood pressure has caused kidney damage, indicated by protein in my urine. Additionally, about a week ago, I strained my back, which initially caused pain but has since improved. However, the nausea and vomiting started recently.
Q6: Are you taking any prescription medications?
A6: I am currently taking lisinopril, metoprolol, and hydrochlorothiazide for blood pressure. However, I haven’t taken them in the last 24 hours due to feeling too sick and being unable to keep the pills down.
Q7: Are you taking any over-the-counter or herbal medications?
A7: I am not currently taking anything, but I did take Naproxen about 7-10 days ago when I strained my back. I took a couple of pills twice a day, and it provided relief from the pain. Could this medication be related to my current stomach issues and nausea?
